HAPPY NEW YEAR! I stopped blogging because I got too hectic and muddled up, but I'm back! Just a casual sort of outfit as I am still exhausted from new years, but it includes my new jacket which I got for christmas.

Shake It Out

I currently love Florence and the Machine's new song Shake it out, it's so beautiful and has been stuck in my head for several days now.
I went to the gym on thursday and my muscles are killing me so badly right now, I feel bruised haha- but no pain no gain.. right? I went to the 'Knit and Stitch' show at Alexandra palace, which turned out to be a lot better than I expected. The majority of people were quite a bit older than me.. (heheh), but they were selling lots of nice things and I made quite a few purchases which I might put on here later. Today I went for tea and cake with my friends, was quiiiite lovely :)

Thought I would include a little outfit from a night out.. I try to make sure I am dressed up, but also quite simple and comfortable so I can do crazy dance moves without being restricted. I really like the colour of this top I'm wearing, it's really unusual. I also really recommend the film 'my neighbour totoro'!!! I did the little character on my nails last night, and it's so much fun! It's a really cute design- I did all the intricate things with a cocktail stick. x

The weather we are having is absolutely insane!! This heatwave is amazing- not so much when you're sitting trying to work in class though...
Here's what I wore on friday in that boiling heat (you can tell it was hot weather because I was able to go to college walking the streets before 8 in the morning and not feeling at all cold). This is so so so loovely, I am about to go for a picnic now! :) x

Hello there again! Been absent for a little, but I have been slaving away... We're experiencing a bit of a late heatwave, so here is a bit of a warmer weather outfit. I also have this new bag to replace my old as it couldn't fit everything in! It's really cute- has a little map of places to shop in london and stuff tehehe.. The earring and ring are new purchases as well, I thought I would treat myself to some new accessories so here they are :)x

A shop I really want to check out is forever 21! I last went when in Dubai a couple years back, and bought a lace skirt from there, but I really want to see what it's like now. Apparently the jewellery isn't bad... will have to check out! Also, Monki has opened as a concession in Selfridges so I'll give that a whirl pretty soon too.
Not up to much today, tidying that mess of a room, and when done- doing some last minute homework..

Been missing for a few days, all which have been filled with procrastination and last minute homework. I like the colour scheme I was wearing today! A problem I'm encountering however, is that I dress for the cold rainy morning, then by the end of the day it's gone all sunny and I'm cooking a little bit! I took outfit pictures from yesterday too, but I think I'll put those up later. I have a prize giving thing tomorrow at my old school so I'm going to have to wear something which I can wear there as well... we'll see what happens... will also be interesting seeing some people I haven't seen for ages too!

Apologies for my messy hair, haha was a bit flustered running about! This was my outfit on friday at college, I took this just before I changed into something else for a party which I didn't manage to get a picture of- was in a bit of a rush! I really like the mix of something casual and slouchy like this men's shirt, with something a bit more tailored and pretty! The only problem is the fact the short material gets a bit creased from me sitting down which is a bit of a pain when in college and you're sitting down for most of your time..

Today I thought I would go a bit summery, with the whole flowers in the hair thing! Some days make you happy- today did. This summer was a little difficult for certain reasons, but one day you wake up and you just feel ok. Today was also improved with a temporary tattoo!! haha it's really cute, shame it's washed off now. I've always wanted a tattoo, but something baby sized, like a black heart outline the size of a thumbnail on my wrist, or a little feather. I just like the idea that it'll last and won't ever come off!

The sky today cleared up to a beautiful blue! I had a very lovely day today surprisingly. I also wore a dress-type-thing today, which was nice, because for some reason, I haven't worn many dresses or skirts recently... time to start again maybe?

Been a bit blue today, but I think I'm going to tidy my pigsty of a bedroom tonight with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzUCVXjBMYY&feature=related playing to take my mind of things... what has my life come to! I have a late start tomorrow for college, so I can afford to not work right now. I have to carry a massive A2 folder around school, which is a bright pink colour- but I'm going to do a little DIY and find a black permanent marker and draw some patterns on it. Will post a picture when I'm done!

I want you so much

Second day of college wahey! I'm finding myself getting home rather late with all this travelling on trains. The homework is already starting to build up, so is the pile of rubbish in my bedroom...

I thought I would wear something a bit casual today- The blue shirt I'm wearing in this was originally my dad's, but since taking it several months ago, I have worn it more than the clothes I've bought, it's so easy to wear.

My chipped nails are fruit loop, a peachy colour from collection 2000 (great dupe for barry m's peach melba hohoho), with the newspaper print design on them. There are step tutorials on youtube, but all you do is dip your painted nails into vodka or another strong alcohol, then press the newspaper onto them. voila!

I still haven't found a good place to take pictures, hence them being all cut up. I'm working on it, bear with!

Start Over

Hello blog, it's been a while. I've taken time away to clear up, get sorted, and decide what I'm actually doing with my life. Today was the first day of college, where I am taking english lit, english lang, fine art, textiles and pattern and garment making. It was very eventful, but not too unpleasant- after an aprehensive start I started to get the hang of things! So, with the start of college and the start of wearing own clothes everyday, I thought I would come back to blog again, and document what I wear everyday, as well as what happens in my life. This is my first college outfit! I thought I would go for quite a 'schooly' look with my loafers, briefcase etc!
